- Once you have acquired the Forerunner, the catalyst is available after reaching Rank 16 Strange Favor with Xur.
What we complete

Catalyst Buff
This weapon generates Orbs on multikills and displays the number of enemies defeated by using it.
When upgraded to a Masterwork, this weapon receives additional bonuses.
The Rock
For several seconds after a final blow, [Alternate Weapon Action] to consume part of your ammo reserves, converting your next thrown grenade into a fragmentation grenade.
