These are tied to players completing a certain number of Triumphs, making titles a sign of completion and mastery over specific parts of Destiny 2. The Splintered title is tied to the Beyond Light DLC and it requires players to achieves a number of accomplishments.

Complete all Exo Challenges.

Complete “Born in Darkness.”
Must have unlocked the quest Born in Darkness.
Reuniting the Eventide Rookery
Complete all Penguin toys.
Must have completed the Base Campaign.
Studying Darkness
Find all Entropic Shards scattered across Europa.
Must have the Salvation’s Grip Grenade Launcher.
Salvage the Past
Find all dead Exo collectibles hidden across Europa.
Must have completed the Base Campaign.
Augmented Obsession
Complete all the Augment Triumphs.
Must have be of 1350+ Power Level.
